Lawrence Cohen’s practice includes over 30 years of experience working hand in hand with clients and families to successfully resolve their legal needs. Prior to running his own legal practice, Lawrence held Partner positions at leading litigation and business law firms based in New York City and Long Island. Lawrence’s experience here included spearheading complex litigation matters, construction and labor law cases, business and commercial litigation, premises and product liability, and environmental and toxic torts.

Lawrence is an active member of Wealth Counsel and Elder Counsel, a premier organization supporting elder law and special needs attorneys and their practices. He has offices in Melville, Long Island and in North Shore Towers & Country Club located in Floral Park, Queens.

Lawrence received his law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law, with an undergraduate degree in Finance from the State University at Albany. His Bar qualifications include New York, Connecticut, the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York. Lawrence resides on Long Island with his wife and two daughters.
