JLC & Associates

Jean believes hands-on collaboration, innovative thinking and open communication are keys to fostering successful client relationships and closing difficult deals. She is an expert negotiator and often advises clients on strategic approaches towards real estate investment and business growth.

She is a frequent speaker at real estate brokerages and organizations around the city, instructing on topics related to new development, luxury market transactions and due diligence tools to better assess risk. In addition to spearheading the firm’s real estate and business advisory practice, Jean has dedicated years of service to pro bono representation. She currently serves as pro bono counsel for GLAAD and The City Bar Justice Center’s Homeowner Stability Project.

Prior to founding JLC & Associates in 2010, Jean worked for a real estate development firm, Blesso Properties, known for its award-winning design portfolio and eco-conscious projects, and TDR Equities, a Manhattan commercial real estate holdings firm. She clerked for the Honorable Shirley W. Kornreich in NYS Supreme Court, where her first judicial opinion on commercial property damage was published. Jean’s prior trusts and estates experience has also become a natural synergy when advising the firm’s clients on real estate and tax planning matters.
