Appell & Parrinelli

John Appell has been practicing law since 1985 and has been the managing partner of his firm since 1988. He is currently partnered with Robert Parrinelli at Appell & Parrinelli.

Early in his career, John Appell worked with several civil attorneys and has tried a wide breadth of personal injury, medical malpractice, and commercial cases. For over 35 years, he has specialized in plaintiff’s personal injury law as well as general and complex litigation with a concentration on medical malpractice, labor law, products liability, wrongful death, construction, commercial and property and casualty matters. He is frequently called upon by fellow attorneys to serve as trial counsel on cases of high exposure.

Mr. Appell has been recognized as being among the top 5% of trial lawyers in New York after having been elected to “Super Lawyers”. He has successfully settled and taken verdicts in thousands of cases, including having prosecuted several dozen with multi-million dollar settlements.
