Juan San Pedro graduated from St. John’s University and received his law degree from Pace University in White Plains, New York.

Mr. San Pedro worked for five years as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County. Mr. San Pedro prosecuted numerous cases, including violent crimes, narcotics, theft related offenses, homicides and other serious misdemeanor and felony charges.

As a defense attorney with over twenty years of experience, Mr. San Pedro has defended clients charged with serious felonies such as violent crimes, narcotics, grand larceny, forgery and sexually related offenses as well as misdemeanor crimes such as assault, petit larceny and driving while intoxicated. Mr. San Pedro has extensive experience in defending clients before the grand jury, as well as having conducted over one hundred jury trials and suppression hearings.

Additionally, Mr. San Pedro has negotiated numerous favorable plea bargains. This includes drug programs, youthful offender adjudications, significantly reducing or eliminating potential jail sentences, as well as sparing clients from having a criminal record.

Since leaving the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, Mr. San Pedro has expanded his practice to include representing accident victims as well as victims of false arrest, police assaults and civil rights violations. Mr. San Pedro has successfully obtained numerous monetary awards over the years for his clients.
