Raymond J. Suris, Esq., founder of Suris & Associates, is a recognized and respected attorney in the legal community. Mr. Suris’ career as a reputable attorney began in 1997, when he graduated from Touro Law School. During law school and as an associate for three years afterward, at Scalzi & Nofi he gained valuable insurance defense litigation experience. In addition, Mr. Suris also clerked for the Honorable Michael L. Pesce, who was the presiding justice of the Appellate Term for the Second, Eleventh, and Thirteenth Judicial Districts in New York Supreme Court. In 2004, he founded Suris & Associates, which now has offices in Long Island, New York City, Buffalo, South Florida, and Philadelphia. His management and intuitiveness have been the most significant impact to the firm’s growth and achievements over the years.

Mr. Suris’ track record for success is evident in the thousands of settlements and verdicts he has won on behalf of his clients. In recognition of his achievements, Mr. Suris was inducted into the Million Dollar Lawyers Forum for his consistent ability to secure multi-million-dollar recoveries for his clients. He also has been annually selected for inclusion in New York Super Lawyers from 2021 to present.

In addition to his success in personal injury law, Mr. Suris has become a significant force within the Commercial and Residential Real Estate Market. He is a founding member of the Freedom Land Title Agency: a nationally recognized title insurance and real estate company. Mr. Suris has also developed commercial properties, including multi-family hotels and industrial buildings, as well as represented developers for similar projects.

What drives Mr. Suris is his desire to improve the lives of others and his strong ties to the Long Island community. Born and raised in Northport, New York, Mr. Suris grew up playing lacrosse, and now helps other Long Island youth do the same. He is the current owner of Dynamic Sports and Team 91 Lacrosse, as well as the founding owner of the Long Island Lizards, a New York Major League Lacrosse team. In his free time, Mr. Suris also enjoys boating and spending time with his family.
